Motorised Systems, the Pride lift motor offers the highest
level of quality in precision drive technology available on
the market today. Not only does it provide more power and
an 80% lower service rate, but when combined with Pride's
patented lift mechanism, it yields an extremely quiet and
smooth lift.
This next generation version of Pride's Megamat actuator has
been designed to provide a new, higher standard of performance
and reliability. It also has a terrific new, battery backup
safety feature.
New rating of Megamat Plus is 1,350 lbs. push/pull force.
Most Lift Chair systems are rated for only 1,000 lbs. The
extra power, along with improvements to the lift frame, provide
Pride Lift Chairs with a 375 lb. rating of lift capacity.
This new feature provides an additional sense of security
at no additional cost. Every Pride Lift Chair is equipped
with an Integrated Battery Backup system, which will automatically
activate during a power failure, and is strictly designed
to take you from the recline position to the seated position.
The system is powered by two 9V alkaline batteries (not included).
We recommend that the batteries be replaced every time the
IBB system is activated, or once a year if the system has
not been activated. The IBB does not recharge automatically.
Accomplished by the optimum gear ratio, high-grade lubricants
and sophisticated quality control measures.
This switch automatically shuts the actuator off if the thermal
limit of the system is reached due to misuse in the form of
continuous operation.
