A wheel chair designed
around standard NHS specifications,
making it is easy to reconfigure and maintain using the many
readily-available options and accessories.
Positive changes such as the ability to take the NHS standard
tray when fitted with the full length arm illustrate the flexibility
and compatibility of the Zipper 2.
Additional improvements include an increase in the range of
sizes and there are now six seat widths and four seat depths
to choose from, making it the most configurable chair in its
class.
Using lightweight materials, the Zipper 2 weighs less than many
other manual wheelchairs and folds flat, making it easy to stow
in the car or take with you wherever you are going.
The lightweight construction has not, however compromised strength.
The new one-piece frame design gives a sturdy and robust chair
whilst offering an improved weight capacity of 115kg. |

The Zipper 2 has been subjected to strict
testing to comply with the latest requirements applicable
to the transportation of wheelchair occupants within vehicles.
Both the transit and self propelling models have been
crash-tested using a 4 point tie down system, and have
successfully passed all tests. This means that users can
have complete confidence in the Zipper 2, and in its abilities
as a safe, practical lightweight chair: |
